50 Invites to Face.com’s New Photo Tagger App!

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

covered the startup Face.com back in March when they launched with their  Photo Finder app on Facebook. If you recall,  Photo-Finder goes through all the albums in Facebook that your account has access to, and using facial recognition technology, scans Facebook to find untagged photos of you and lets you browse through the results.  According to my friend Gil Hirsch, CEO and Founder of face.com, since its launch Photo Finder has scanned more than 1.5 billion photos, identifying more than 2.3 million faces.

Today Face.com is launching yet another Facebook application called Photo Tagger, which focuses specifically on the Company’s strong facial recognition technology and allows photography lovers and obsessive compulsive serial taggers like myself to auto-tag or rather bulk tag whole photo albums more easily, quickly and efficiently by usage of their core facial recognition technology.

Gil has given me 50 invites to give to my lovely readers so come get ‘em here! I am warning you in advance that you may see a snail here or there. If you do, let us know and we’ll report it to Face.com. If you don’t, forget about the snails and just enjoy your invite!
