Please explain why you think 7 is not relevant. Displaying your activity on the different networks with widgets on your blog is extremely important. It allows you to show your readers what your interests are and also allows you to connect with them on other platforms as well.

Yes. Facebook is a great place to share your posts with your friends and other bloggers. I usually twitter my posts from facebook so they are shown to all my facebook friends as well as my twitter friends.

as you said its important to promote your blog via Twitter and social bookmarking sites, i personally found it very useful to promote my blog using Facebook by using the diverse groups that people opened to share the blog new posts with my friends and other people that are in the same group. in my opinion its really shifting ( or advancing depends how you look at it) to a place that bloggers will be able to help and meet one another which matching perfectly the 10th tip of bloggers to interact with one another.

Using all the above tips and always thinking before posting: “What content could interest my readers”. I try to write not only about the latest social networks or social software, but also bring in the philosophical and cultural aspects of our Web 2.0 world. I think that’s what differentiates my blog perhaps from other blogs.
